This is a super awesome dog bed. It is so comfortable I wanted to sleep on it. The fabric is perfect. Dirt and burs just brush right off. It is not waterproof. A waterproof pillow cover for the inside pillow is a great idea if you have a dog that marks or is older. Really awesome.
My German Sheppard was due for a new bed, and this "Nandog Pet Gear" pet pillow bed in the large size looked like it would fit the bill. After unboxing, I was struck by how puffy the bed was. I think I could have curled up on it myself as it looked so inviting!I placed the new bed in the area the old one had been and called my dog. He really wasn't too thrilled, but I got him to lay down on it. That is when I realized that all that fluffiness didn't have much support to offer. Under his weight, the poly-fiber compacted down till it wasn't much softer than laying on the floor. He prefers his old bed with more support, but that is what he is used to. There are a lot of this type of bed out there, so there are dogs that are happy with the cloud-like softness.I am not saying this is not a nice bed, just because of my dog's indifference. In fact, the bed appears to be well made, the cover is softly furry and the fact that the cover zips off for washing is a plus. I just wish there was a little more substance to it.
Very soft! My doggo loves this very soft, pillow-like bed. It is not the orthopedic-style she is used to, but I have it out in the living room for daytime use, and she loves it as a nice alternative. It has a very soft, easy-to-clean cover. The bed is large, and can be flipped over and fluffed to make fresh, like fluffing your own pillows! Recommend.
This is a very comfortable day bed for my dogs, they love it. It has a white short hair faux fur cover that looks good and does not make my dogs feel to warm lying on it. The bed cover slips off with a fun paw shaped zipper. The interior is a bag of padding, this does not go in the wash, but the cover can be washed. I washed mine on a cold gentle cycle, extra fabric softener, and tumble dry low for 40 minutes.It washed perfectly, it did not shrink at all. The bed has the same material on both sides, so top and bottom side are the same. It is a nicely made dog bed that should wear well for a while. In my opinion it is not a bed for older dogs who need a lot of support but is ideal for younger dogs who are looking for a comfy day bed to enjoy naps on. My dogs love it and that is all that matters.
